And btw "Low Priority" is always set to "Someday" to hide it from the sidebar. Tasks in Low Priority project in Permanent area (I check once a month). No Project, Someday (I check once a week). Personal Area, Anytime (I check a few times per week). No Project, Anytime (I check 1-2 times per day if I have some spare time or need to relax with low-intensity pratical things. Today / Scheduled (I check multiple times per day) Finally I have a "Low Priority" project within a "Permanent" Area that has "Read Later", "Water Later", "Buy Later", "Finance", "Gift Ideas", "Wishlist" etc. Then I put medium urgency tasks in a "Personal" area, either as a task or a project depending on scope.

Half the time, it just doesn't show up in the app afterwards even though it confirms it! So I'm using Reminders most of the time on my AW, and Things most of the time on Mac for a little things.įor me "No project" is idea for those little practical tasks that are good to do soon, but doesn't need to be scheduled. This is also connected to the problem I have of unreliable input to Things via Siri on the Apple Watch. To be perfectly honest, I still think Apple Reminders is WAY easier to use with stuff like grocery list because I just just say "Add X to shopping list" without remembering the "In Things", and I don't see any benefit to having it all in one app, if another app have a very specific purpose and is even better connected with Siri. You can even put it under a specific heading right away by writing the project first, then heading (or just part of them), then it puts it in under the right heading. To be honest I most frequently put it in it's rightful place immediately on input, because I'm on my Mac most of the time and it's so easy with Quick Entry global keyboard shortcut, then Cmd+Shift+M to move to the right project.
